TWID is revolutionizing this space by making reward points completely ubiquitous and fungible, building them as a currency you can use freely at merchants directly without any friction.
Twid operates the checkout option "Pay With Rewards" at 35,000+ merchants such as JioMart, NetMeds, MilkBasket, Yatra, Ixigo and ConfirmTkt, where rewards currencies such as Intermiles, Payback, SuperCoins, TimesPoints and Nth Rewards can be redeemed seamlessly.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Engineer with strong GoLang expertise (Fintech industry experience is a plus). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend systems, be comfortable working across databases and APIs, and have hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar. Familiarity with these tools to accelerate development, ensure code quality and improve productivity is highly valued. Experience with team leadership is a strong plus.
Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services with a focus on GoLang.
Use AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar to enhance productivity and streamline development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide well-architected solutions.
Own the full development lifecycle including planning, development, unit testing, deployment and monitoring.
Integrate with third-party APIs and services securely and efficiently.
Work with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases to model and optimize data flows.
Implement and optimize caching mechanisms to enhance application performance.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Contribute to and help maintain CI/CD pipelines; Terraform knowledge is a plus.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders and external partners.
(Preferred) Lead or mentor junior engineers and participate in technical decision-making.
3+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
Proficient in GoLang; experience with PHP is a plus.
Fintech industry experience is a plus.
Solid experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
Familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party systems.
Good understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools, especially Terraform, is a bonus.
Practical experience using AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Tabnine) to support development workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
(Preferred) Past experience in leading or mentoring a team.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
Exposure to ML Ops or AI model integration in backend systems is a plus.
