These Terms & Conditions govern the Vi Stars Loyalty Program on Vi, managed by Twid. Please read them carefully before participating in the Program.
1. Definitions
"Vi" refers to Vodafone Idea Limited, including its affiliates, successors, and assigns.
"Twid" refers to the program management partner operating the loyalty infrastructure.
"Program" means the Vi Stars Loyalty Program.
"User" / "Member" means a Vi customer enrolled in the Program.
"Vi Stars" means the reward points issued under the Program.
"Vi Stars Account" means the account where a User’s Vi Stars are accumulated and redeemed.
"Transaction" means any eligible payment or activity on Vi or partner platforms.
"Earn" means accumulation of Vi Stars.
"Burn" / "Redemption" means utilisation of Vi Stars.
"Partner" means third-party merchants available for redemption.
"Platform" means Vi app, website, or partner interfaces.
2. General Conditions
Participation in the Program is voluntary. By participating, the User agrees to these Terms.
Vi and Twid reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.
Vi Stars are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The Program is managed by Twid in association with Vi.
Ownership of Vi Stars rests solely with Vi and Twid.
Vi is not responsible for partner service failures, technical issues, or delays in earning/redemption.
Partner services are governed by their respective terms and conditions.
3. Enrolment
Users must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate details.
Enrolment may be automatic via the Vi app, transaction journeys, or partner integrations.
Vi or Twid may approve, reject, or suspend accounts at its discretion.
4. Earning of Vi Stars
Users can earn Vi Stars on eligible transactions through the Vi platform using Twid:
2% of bill value on the first transaction under the campaign
2% (boosted) on the third transaction
1% on all subsequent transactions
Applicable only on transactions with a minimum bill value of ₹199
Vi may introduce additional earning boosters or promotional offers from time to time.
5. Conversion Ratio
Earn: ₹1 = 10 Vi Stars
Burn: 10 VI Stars = ₹1
No fractional points will be issued.
6. Redemption of Vi Stars
On Vi Platform Users may redeem up to 100% of the transaction value using Vi Stars
On Partner Platforms
Redemption is allowed only on non-competing merchants.
Users can redeem up to 5% of total earned Vi Stars externally.
Redemption availability may vary by partner.
Vi Stars may be automatically applied to eligible transactions.
7. Partner Ecosystem
Redemption may be enabled through Twid-integrated partners.
Vi reserves the right to add, remove, or modify partners and categories.
Vi is not liable for partner product/service quality or delivery issues.
8. Credit, Validity & Expiry
Vi Stars will be credited instantly to a qualifying transaction.
Vi Stars are valid for 90 days from the date of accrual.
Expired points will lapse automatically and cannot be reinstated.
Vi or Twid may introduce additional expiry or dormancy rules.
9. Fraud & Misuse
In cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or system manipulation, Vi and Twid reserve the right to:
Reverse earned points
Cancel transactions
Suspend or terminate user accounts
10. Account & Data Usage
Users consent to data collection, behavioural tracking, and personalised communication.
Communication channels may include WhatsApp, SMS, Email, and App notifications.
11. Termination
Vi may terminate the Program or a User's participation at its discretion.
Upon termination, accumulated Vi Stars may expire immediately or within a specified timeframe.
12. Limitation of Liability
Vi shall not be liable for
Indirect or consequential losses
Partner-related issues
System downtime or technical failures
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
14. Communication & Marketing Consent
Users agree to receive promotional communications, behavioural nudges, and lifecycle messaging related to the Program.
